This piece depicts a different day on the Red Rocks of Nevada. Ain’t no mountain high enough, ain’t no valley low enough, ain’t no river wide enough. I saw it all on this hike. The way the light brought out the colors of the rocks. Reds. greens, purples. The way the clouds reflected those colors and danced above us. It felt like all elements of nature surrounded us. I painted what I saw, and then added what I felt.. and I felt like we were on top of the world.
