I was asked to do a painting for a design show. It was a room, in a high end shop, where my designer friend was styling the space. My start in painting was with custom art, and I was thrilled to create a piece for this show. My only direction was “paint something badass” and I was given a swatch of Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon fabric, in orange. This is the product of that direction. Is this badass, I say yes! The dragons inspired the fire, and the colors of the fabric are all incorporated in the piece, but, it stands alone and makes a statement. We all have that fire within! This piece, hanging on the wall is a great reminder!
